PLEASE READ BEFORE ORDERING
Please allow 2 weeks minimum turnaround on DVDs plus shipping time.
Shipping, handling, transfer & packaging fees are added to DVD prices at checkout.
Multiple items are amortized to cover production & outsourcing costs. Foreign shipping costs based on location.
Sci-Fi Station distributes Public Domain (PD) films. We specialize
in hard-to-find sci-fi and horror from the golden age of cinema. Since most of
these are rare out of print titles the quality may not be to the standard of newer digitally re-mastered DVDs
from major motion picture studios. The films we sell are purchased from other public domain distributors who package
the movies, therefore, none are previously viewed.
All our DVDs are DVD-R recordable media in FR mode (NTSC - REGION 1) using DVD masters produced
from the best available original film elements (some direct from 16 or 35 mm prints). Titles include a
color clam-shell case displaying original one sheet poster art and lobby card displays and may include various
features such as Original Theatrical Trailers, Poster Gallery or other Extras.
A DVD-R disc, recorded at the proper speed, is an exact duplicate of the original source material.
DVD-R discs are compatible with most current DVD players. All future players from major companies will be DVD-R compatible and most
current DVD units will have no problem playing them. But just for the record, top brands like Sony, JVC, Pioneer, and Panasonic will
play DVD-R's flawlessly. Please be sure that your unit is able to play DVD-R's before ordering.
Please Note: We cannot issue refunds for DVD-R incompatibility issues. If you are uncertain of
your player's DVD-R compatibility, please click
here.

All Sales Final - No Refunds or Returns
1. Because DVDs can be easily copied, and questions of quality are so subjective,
all DVD sales are considered final and no refunds or rebates or credits shall be given. In other words, we do not
want individuals purchasing DVDs, copying them, and then returning the DVDs for their money back.
2. We do our best to offer the finest quality transfers currently available.
Customer agrees there are no refunds for video and/or audio quality concerns/issues.
3. On rare occasions, a disc may be defective due to a
technical issue during manufacture. Testing is done to eliminate this possibility, but it still may occur.
In these instances, we will replace the offending disc at no charge. The following are not considered defects
(this list is by example and not meant to be exhaustive):
(a) DVD Player issues
(b) DVD player compatibility issues
(c) Mishandling by the user
(d) User does not like the movie or its contents, the previews, subtitles translation, etc.
(e) User is upset with us and no longer wants the items
(f) Non-receipt of an item where valid delivery confirmation or tracking methods or other credible evidence
establish delivery (or in transit), or customer has provided false or an incorrect ship to address.
(g) Scratches on disc(s). DVDs may become dislodged during shipment. We therefore always encourage buyers to
take advantage of purchasing insurance on their order(s).
4. DVDs are designed to work on as many DVD players as possible.
However, as with any DVD, it is not possible to create a disc that is compatible with every machine.
If you experience technical difficulties, please try the disc on an alternative DVD player or Computer Drive. You can also try cleaning
the DVD. To clean, use a soft cloth and wipe in straight lines from the center of the disc to the edge. We may, at
our discretion, offer compatibility testing for $35. This amount is reimbursable if it is determined to be a technical
issue and not a compatibility issue. If it is not, expense is borne by customer.
5. Regardless of the issue, there are no refunds, exchanges, replacements, after 3 days
of confirmed receipt of order by USPS Delivery Confirmation or tracking services. Otherwise the matter will be considered waived and closed.
Should an item be returned the shipping cost is borne by the customer and is not reimbursable.
6. No cancellations are permitted once an order is placed.
Should one be allowed a 40% cancellation fee of the order total, or $25, whichever is greater will be required to be
payed by customer.
7. We will not provide refunds where there is an appropriate
solution for minor errors, defects or issues or the error is insignificant to the entire purchase as a whole:
(a) We will provide replacement or substitute DVDs where in a multi-volume set there may be duplicate discs.
(b) There will be no replacement of a casing broken during shipment unless customer pays for insurance.
(c) There will be no refunds or returns for the omission of 3 or less episodes. For 4 or more missing episodes, we will either
provide a pro-rated refund based on the cost per episode or obtain the missing episodes.
(d) There will be no refunds or returns or discounts for the omission or issues with opening/closing credits of any show.
(e) There will be no refunds or returns or discounts for the omission of a scene, a dubbing, subtitle or edit issue.

What is DVD-R?
Titles are provided on DVD-R media. Due to the rarity and special-interest nature of these films,
commercially-pressed DVDs would not be financially feasible. DVD-R media allows small labels to
produce titles in limited quantities, thereby holding production costs down, which keeps prices
reasonable. DVD-R is compatible with nearly all consumer DVD players produced in the last three years
or so. If you are unsure of your player's ability to handle DVD-R, you may wish to do a bit of research
before ordering. One such database can be found here.
Please note we are not responsible for your DVD equipment's inability to play DVD-R.
Are These Bootleg DVDs?
No. Sci-Fi Station does not sell bootlegs or pirated copies of existing North American DVD
releases. All our titles are Public Domain and obtained from other vendors. The vast majority of our titles have never
seen a widespread domestic release on DVD. If you believe that a title we carry is in conflict
with some agreement you have as a rights holder, please contact us.
We welcome the opportunity to discuss a fair distribution arrangement with you.
Terms of Sale
DVD-R titles are produced with the best image and sound quality for every title. Many
in the Galactic Movie Collection are old and rare, and quality variations are inevitable.
Any title which suffers from a physical defect in media or workmanship will be replaced free of charge.
Shipping charges may apply. Otherwise, All Sales Are Final.

The Return of Godzilla (1984)
aka Godzilla 1985 Rare Widescreen! Spoken English Dub USA Version Director: Koji Hashimoto
Starring: Raymond Burr, Kenpachiro Satsuma, Ken Tanaka, Yasuko Sawaguchi. New World Pictures in the US changed the title from The Return of Godzilla
to Godzilla 1985 and radically re-edited the film. Originally, New World reportedly planned to re-write the dialogue in order to turn the film into a tongue-in-cheek comedy (ˆ la What's Up, Tiger Lily?)
, but this plan was reportedly scrapped because Raymond Burr expressed displeasure at the idea, believing
Godzilla as a nuclear metaphor was not to be tampered with. |

Valley of the Zombies (1946)
Director: Phillip Ford Starring: Robert Livingston, Lorna Gray, Ian Keith, Charles Trowbridge.
Ian Keith stars in this vampire-like story of a never-aging man who needs blood to stay young. Keith was one of many considered for the role of Dracula in the classic 1931
film. Here you see him as a caped shadowy figure in need of blood, to give
you a hint of what might have been. Not Lugosi, but pretty darn sinister. A moody, well-done low budget picture. |
