Director: Arthur Lubin
Starring: Steve Reeves, Giorgia Moll, Georges Chamarat (Magician). Thief Karim (Reeves) falls in love with the
daughter of a Sultan. When she turns ill, Karim vows to recover a blue rose that will return her to health.
A very good film due to the help of some good acting and nice special effects; including faceless warriors,
killer trees, an army of Steve Reeve doubles and a winged horse. Imaginative childhood favorite, great musical score,
Steve Reeves at his best. Veteran director Lubin's credits included 1940's Abbott and Costello features,
Francis the Talking Mule Series (1950's) & The Incredible Mr. Limpett (1964)

Cult science fiction series about a small faction of robots and their allies who battle to save mankind from an alien invasion of supernatural porportions. Interesting mesh of spy film noir & supernatural sci-fi that doesn't take itself too seriously.

The Return of Godzilla (1984)

Spoken English Dub, USA Version
Director: Koji Hashimoto
Starring: Raymond Burr, Kenpachiro Satsuma, Ken Tanaka, Yasuko Sawaguchi. New World Pictures in the US changed the
title from The Return of Godzilla to Godzilla 1985 and radically re-edited the film. Originally,
New World reportedly planned to re-write the dialogue in order to turn the film into a tongue-in-cheek comedy
(ˆ la What's Up, Tiger Lily?) , but this plan was reportedly scrapped because Raymond Burr expressed
displeasure at the idea, believing Godzilla as a nuclear metaphor was not to be tampered with.
